What is a water repellent zipper? Water Repellent Zipper, also known as Waterproof Zipper, Water Resistant zipper, it's is a branch of Nylon Zipper, but with some special treatment. Commonly used special treatment methods include: sticking PVC film, sticking TPU film, soaking in waterproof agent, coating waterproof zipper, etc. The main film material used for the waterproof zipper is PVC, its main component is polyvinyl chloride. Another main film material is TPU, it's made by TPU pellets through a special process. It inherits the excellent physical properties of TPU and has a wide range of applications. Because TPU overcomes many defects of PVC, TPU Waterproof Zipper is more commonly used than PVC waterproof zipper now.
