What is a bicycle seatpost?   Seatposts are usually made from a hollow tube. Traditional seatposts usually have a round cross-section, but today's latest bikes often have seatposts made of special tubing. The top of the seat tube is equipped with clamps to hold your saddle in place. At the bottom, the seat tube is inserted into the upper part of the riser of the titanium bike frames and secured there with a Seatpost Clamp.
